Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building complex, production-grade software systems.
• Strong programming fundamentals across multiple languages.
• Experience with APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and scalable architectures.
• Exposure to AI/LLM or machine learning integrations is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and ship production software (approximately 80%).
• Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on in codebase.
• Architect systems for large datasets (roughly 50 TB/day).
• Expand data collection capabilities across public internet infrastructure.
• Build scalable integrations with data providers and customer environments.
• Lay foundation for AI/LLM capabilities in the data platform.
• Work across backend, APIs, infrastructure, data pipelines, and product UX.
• Contribute to UX/UI decisions to make data intuitive and useful.
• Partner with customers to understand requirements and workflows.
• Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards.
• Grow ownership and guide future architecture, tooling, and hiring.
