Job summary

The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts Philly is seeking a Group Sales Representative to support audience development and ticketing for the Philadelphia Orchestra, ensembles, Broadway, and facilities.

The Group Sales Representative will work closely with the Audience Development Manager to ensure successful development and stewardship of relationships with group leaders, guests, and audience development prospects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service in retail, call center, or performing arts.
• Experience with diverse audiences and accessibility is a plus.
• Customer Service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed Audience Services Customer Service Standards.
• Provide excellent customer service with a focus on group sales and customer connections.
• Promote upcoming shows with customer service calls.
• Coordinate payment processing and ticket distribution.
• Submit group payments to the box office for processing.
• Follow up on declined payments and collections.
• Monitor group sales inbox emails promptly.
• Maintain accurate and complete contract records.
• Complete weekly group sales reports.
• Actively upsell enhancements such as parking and dining.
• Provide timely responses to guest information requests via mail, phone, email and chat.
• Create Customer Service Issue records for guest feedback and incidents.
• Lead and support group sales processing training for Audience Services staff.
• Assist staff with group sales questions.
• Provide overflow support for Audience Services when needed.
• Monitor Groups and Ticket Donation inboxes.
