Job summary

Real Chemistry is seeking a Group Account Director to serve as senior strategic leader across medical affairs and publication workstreams. You will own client relationships at the highest level, drive integrated account growth, and ensure operational excellence across a portfolio of work.

This hybrid role can be based in New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Carmel, IN, or Lambertville, NJ, or remotely within the US. Canadian applicants in Ontario are welcome; US eastern hours apply.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in medical affairs/publications within an agency setting.
• At least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience with advisory boards, symposia, MSL materials; publication planning a plus.
• Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar accounts and driving growth.
• Strong strategic thinking and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior client partner, shaping long-term strategies and ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Identify and drive opportunities for account expansion, new business development, and innovative solutions.
• Oversee account operations, ensuring flawless execution, proactive issue resolution, and budgeting/forecasting.
• Provide trusted advisory support to senior client stakeholders on medical affairs and publication strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire account teams to foster collaboration and excellence.
• Stay ahead of regulatory changes and industry trends to inform client strategies.
