Job summary
Southern California Edison seeks a TGS Advisor for Transmission & Telecom Operations to support performance management, scheduling oversight, and analytics. The role partners with Planning, Engineering, Environmental, and other groups to ensure field readiness and pre-construction compliance, while driving operational improvements across grid resources.
The position emphasizes data-driven reporting, dashboards, and learning SAP- and CMS-based workflows.
Qualifications
- Seven or more years of experience in energy delivery and distribution.
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent.
- Experience using Power BI to develop reports and dashboards.
- MS Access proficiency to create queries and ad-hoc reports.
- Strong knowledge of SAP equipment/structure, CMS, ClickSchedule, and WorkIt.
Responsibilities
- Oversees contracts and regulatory compliance.
- Obtains permits and easements with authorities.
- Develops data management practices to maintain model integrity.
- Directs transmission and distribution activities and outages.
- Tracks project cost, scope, resources, and schedules; plans contingencies.
- Analyzes data to build BI reports and dashboards.
- Monitors budgets and long‑term forecasts.
- Protects assets and sensitive information with integrity.
