Job summary

The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is seeking a Graphic Technician III (Graphic Arts) at Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. This role supports the development and production of visual communications across print and digital projects, including social media graphics and website content.

You will coordinate schedules, budgets, and production, create assets that follow our brand guidelines, and provide web design support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience.
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• OR two years in a MWD Graphic Technician II classification.
• Relevant experience may include professional graphic design or visual communications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand objectives and develop visual solutions.
• Develop print and digital materials including publications, reports, flyers, and social graphics.
• Coordinate project schedules, production, and budgets to meet deadlines.
• Create and edit visuals, including illustrations and digital imagery, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Provide design support for internal and external websites and environments.
• Produce, revise, and maintain technical illustrations such as isometric drawings.
