Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree plus four years of related experience or equivalent (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).
• Experience in grant development, research development, and scientific writing is preferred.
• Ability to interpret funding opportunities, sponsor instructions, and translate them into practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform substantive grantsmanship review and editing of faculty proposals for organization and narrative flow.
• Provide grant development consultation, planning, and resource navigation.
• Develop and teach curriculum related to grant writing and research development.
• Identify funding opportunities, sponsor announcements, and research resources and share with scholars.
• Collaborate with VPCAT staff, mentors, and scholars to support program goals.
