Job summary

Strayer University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for the graduate Marketing (MKT500) class, starting October 5th in a hybrid format. The role requires 11 in-person sessions weekly at a Strayer Campus with the balance taught asynchronously online.

The candidate will teach from a pre-designed curriculum, enhance the course with technology, and be available to students through multiple channels for timely feedback. Teaching experience and a doctoral qualification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Marketing with 27 quarter credit hours in Marketing or a Doctorate in a business-related discipline with a Master’s in Marketing.
• College-level teaching experience preferred.
• 6+ years of professional experience in Marketing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses from a pre-designed curriculum using professional expertise.
• Enhance curriculum with technology and videos.
• Be on-campus for in-person sessions and teach asynchronously online.
• Engage with students via email, phone, text, and office hours to provide timely feedback.
• Set clear evaluation standards and adhere to university policies.
• Attend faculty meetings and workshops as required.
