Job summary
Designworks Talent is seeking a Virtualization & Orchestration Engineer to join our AI infrastructure team in Bellevue, WA. Hybrid role with three days in the office; you will design and operate virtualization, Kubernetes, and GPU provisioning systems.
You will own multi-tenant infrastructure, drive automation, and collaborate with hardware, networking, and software teams to scale AI workloads. This role offers strong compensation and a path to influence platform architecture.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes in production.
- Experience designing large-scale AI infrastructure.
- Background in virtualization for cloud/HPC/GPU.
- Understanding GPU provisioning and resource management.
- Proficiency with Linux and distributed systems concepts.
Responsibilities
- Design virtualization infra for GPU-intensive AI workloads.
- Operate Kubernetes-based orchestration for GPU clusters.
- Build provisioning systems for multi-tenant capacity.
- Design workload placement and resource management solutions.
- Collaborate with hardware, networking, and AI platform teams.
- Improve reliability, security, scalability of the orchestration platform.
- Build tooling to simplify infrastructure management.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and platform standards.
