Job summary

Intel Corporation in Santa Clara, CA, seeks a GPU Platform Hardware Design Manager to lead the design and development of high-performance GPU hardware platforms, from feasibility through board layout, tapeout and platform bring-up, ensuring robust functionality and PCIe/OAM compliance.

You will collaborate with architecture, power, thermal, mechanical, and firmware teams to drive innovative GPU systems for data center and cloud workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of hardware design experience with leadership.
• Deep knowledge of power integrity, signal integrity, and thermal design.
• Proficiency with EDA tools and PCB layout software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evaluate electronic components, PCBs, and ICs for GPU platforms.
• Translate platform requirements into detailed specifications and ensure adherence.
• Define component placement and routing rules for performance and signal integrity.
• Lead feasibility studies, layout, tapeout, and bring-up activities.
• Collaborate with architecture, power, thermal, mechanical, and firmware teams.
• Advance testing, manufacturing, and debugging processes to meet PCIe and OAM standards.
