Job summary

Nippon Steel & Sumikin Bussan Americas, Inc. is seeking a Sales Coordinator in Schaumburg, IL. This full-time, non-exempt role offers hybrid work up to two days per week after training, with hours from 8:30am to 5pm.

You will interface with customers, suppliers and internal teams to manage orders, billing and logistics for steel products and related goods. The position requires strong communication, independent and team collaboration, and experience with Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Fluent / Business level in English.
• Office work experience.
• Software skills such as Excel spreadsheet and/or ERP system.
• Trading Admin work experience is a plus.
• Logistics experience is a plus.
• Japanese language skill is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contracting and delivery arrangement.
• Processing sales and purchases, SG&A.
• Controlling inventory and monitoring statuses.
• Coordinate projects with suppliers, customers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and file documents for billing, shipments and customs.
