Job summary

CHS Inc. seeks an Experienced Export & Import Analyst to join our Inver Grove Heights, MN team.

You will independently manage and execute container shipments, applying trade execution knowledge, Incoterms, and compliance to resolve routine issues with minimal supervision. The role requires attention to detail, collaboration, and strong communication while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in trade execution, export/import documentation, or operations.
• Working knowledge of Incoterms and export compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions with limited supervision.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Execute CAF, DP and LC export contracts from confirmation through settlement.
• Manage end-to-end shipment execution, ensuring alignment between contract terms and operations.
• Prepare and validate export documentation per contractual, banking, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Traders, Global Marketers, Accounting, Legal, Credit & Risk, Compliance, and Logistics.
• Engage with Freight Forwarders, Banks, USDA, and other partners to ensure timely execution and issue resolution.
• Monitor shipment progress and address execution challenges proactively.
• Identify gaps and propose process improvements.
• Communicate complex execution details to internal and external partners clearly.
• Develop knowledge of GAFTA and other governing contracts.
