Astral Health & Beauty is seeking a seasoned General Ledger (GL) Accountant to maintain the general ledger, support month-end close, and prepare monthly financial statements in a hybrid Atlanta environment.

The ideal candidate will own journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting in alignment with U.S. GAAP and company policies. Join a multi-brand beauty leader with a focus on integrity and compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of professional accounting experience with GL and month-end close.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial statements.
• Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS).
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Month-End Close & General Ledger: perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and post recurring and adjusting journal entries (accruals, prepaids, reclassifications).
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper period dating.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for GL accounts.
• Investigate unusual activity and resolve discrepancies.
• Complete close activities per the monthly close calendar.
