Job summary

The Boise Fire Department is seeking a GIS Data Analyst to transform dispatch and operational data into actionable insights. This mid-level role uses ArcGIS Pro, Field Maps, and Survey123 to develop GIS-based workflows across the department.

You will automate tasks, improve data quality, and support leadership with dashboards and reports, partnering with staff across the organization. Hybrid work eligibility is included where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, economics, mathematics, business administration or a related field.
• Three years of experience performing highly complex business analysis, data science or analytics.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze dispatch and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Improve business processes and automate repetitive tasks.
• Develop GIS and data solutions to increase efficiency and data accessibility.
• Build dashboards and maps to support strategic decisions by leadership.
