Job summary

Seneca Resources Company, LLC, a National Fuel Gas Company subsidiary, seeks a Geomatics Analyst to support Environmental Engineering through GIS data management, mapping, and data integration. You will fulfill reporting requests, maintain datasets, and coordinate with vendors in a fast-paced energy setting.

The role requires ArcGIS Pro experience, data accuracy, and knowledge of land datasets; a GIS certification or degree is preferred. Hybrid work and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Geography, GIS, Surveying, CS, Natural Sciences or related field OR an Associate’s Degree or GIS certification with 2–5 years of experience.
• Experience using ArcGIS Pro, Land management software and Autodesk software is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania Oil and Gas regulations is preferred but not required.
• Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft 365 is required.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail is critical.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill mapping requests for executive meetings, legal documentation, preliminary scouting and AFE (purchase reports).
• Create and maintain Land dataset features using ArcGIS geoprocessing tools.
• Complete interdepartmental data requests by entering and sending data to/from various sources in ArcGIS.
• Locate, obtain, and load data from public ArcGIS data repositories.
• Assist the Geomatics department in developing new datasets and making schema changes.
• Utilize the Esri GIS Portal to publish and maintain web maps, feature layers, and applications.
• Responsible for data QA/QC regarding ownership research, topology, and lease accuracy.
• Coordinate with third party data vendors.
• Familiarity with AI and machine-learning techniques.
• Assist in training employees in the Company’s GIS Portal and desktop apps when requested.
• Comply with EHSQ policies and participate in EHSQ programs.
