Rehlko seeks a Generator Systems Engineer to lead analysis, validation, and optimization of generator systems for critical power applications. You will apply power system modeling, simulation, and electrical engineering expertise to improve reliability and support new product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 3+ years work experience in electrical engineering.
• Strong communication skills; excellent analytical abilities.
• Hands-on experience with electric machine testing.
• Targeted coursework in electric machines.
• Experience with electromagnetic finite element tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform transient analysis of simulations of generator applications to optimize sizing.
• Develop and implement Alternator diagnostics algorithms.
• Provide model development and guidance for power system simulation in Simulink, SKM, and other tools.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to validate first article production machines.
• Support education of internal/external stakeholders on power systems fundamentals.
