Job summary
Rehlko in Wisconsin is seeking a Generator Systems Engineer to lead development, analysis, validation, and optimization of generator systems for critical power applications. You will apply power system modeling, simulation, and electrical engineering expertise to improve reliability and support new products.
The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET) and 3+ years in the field; experience with electric machines and FEM tools is preferred.
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited B.S.E.E. required.
- 3+ years of electrical engineering experience preferred.
- Hands-on testing experience is a plus.
- Experience with electric machines and electromagnetic analyses is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; team-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Perform transient analysis of generator applications to optimize sizing.
- Develop and implement alternator diagnostics algorithms.
- Provide model development and power system simulation guidance (Simulink, SKM).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate first article production machines.
- Support applications engineering with customer issues and root-cause investigations.
- Lead best-practice development within the department.
