Job summary

Big Sandy Community and Technical College invites qualified candidates to apply for the General Education Adjunct Pool. Adjunct instructors are part-time temporary employees used to fill classroom vacancies. Part-time faculty may be needed to teach for selected day, evening, weekend, and on-line classes at any of our campus locations.

Part-time instructors are paid $515.00 per college credit hour. The following disciplines are being recruited: Accounting, Art, Communications, English/Written

Qualifications

• Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline.
• Credential must be granted from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.

Responsibilities

• Plans and carries out instruction, instructional activities, and prepares learning materials.
• Provides instruction to students in the subject area.
• Prepares lesson plans and maintains records and reports on student attainment, attendance/activity and progress.
• Utilizes approved online course template and syllabus format.
