Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group in the Washington, DC area seeks a Design Engineer I to support natural gas infrastructure projects within our Gas Programs team. The hybrid role offers home-based flexibility with in-office collaboration for meetings and field support.

You will work with senior engineers to ensure designs meet specifications and prepare comprehensive design packages, while traveling occasionally and maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally to project sites.
• Experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Bluebeam is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support natural gas infrastructure design within the Gas Programs team.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and drafters to develop design packages.
• Communicate status on scope, schedule, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
