WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking an entry-level Gas Distribution Engineer to support planning, design, and execution of natural gas infrastructure projects in Denver. You will work with Project Managers, Operations, and vendors to ensure safe, compliant delivery.

This 1-year hybrid position requires on-site Tue-Thu in Denver with remote work available on Mondays and Fridays. Responsibilities include designing, drafting, cost tracking, regulatory compliance, and construction support, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or a similar CAD platform.
• Microsoft Experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and execution of gas infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering designs, drawings, and project documentation.
• Develop project tracking reports and status updates.
• Maintain service spreadsheets and engineering calculations.
• Research and verify existing asset information.
• Help with cost estimating and project scoping activities.
• Prepare operating procedures and technical documentation.
• Support Stage Gate and project approval processes.
• Participate in project team meetings and coordination meetings.
• Provide engineering support during construction and field activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety requirements, and company standards.
