Job summary

NB Private Markets, a growing group within Neuberger Berman, is seeking a senior professional to manage financial reporting and fund accounting across ILS, direct investment, and hedge fund vehicles. The role works closely with portfolio managers and investor relations to deliver accurate NAVs, statements, and performance analytics.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in accounting/finance (CPA a plus) and strong knowledge of fund accounting, with exposure to direct investments and hedge funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting theory and fund accounting and financial reporting.
• 8–10 years accounting/finance experience; CPA a plus.
• Experience with credit related products, including loan settlement and trade reconciliations is a plus.
• Exposure to direct investment and/or hedge fund accounting/reporting is a plus.
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager.

Responsibilities

• Financial reporting across ILS, direct investment, and hedge fund vehicles, including NAV, allocations, waterfalls and fund returns.
• Support investor reporting process, monthly investor statements, audits and due diligence requests.
• Assist in cash management forecasts and budgets for investment capital across portfolios.
• Maintain expense register and ledger for budgeting, attribution, and forecasting.
• Oversee fund credit facilities and ensure understanding of portfolio assets.
