Job summary

FordDirect is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to UI patterns, component development, and API integrations. The role reports to the Director of Application Development and operates in a hybrid setup, with in-office days Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The team focuses on UI/UX excellence, scalable interfaces, and secure deployment practices. A B.S. in CS or related field is required, with Azure/AWS/GCP certs considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Microsoft Azure/AWS/GCP Developer certification is a plus.
• Experience with web services and cloud-based development environments.

Responsibilities

• Build highly responsive and scalable UIs using modern frameworks (React, Angular).
• Design and develop APIs interactions and enterprise code deployment processes.
• Collaborate with analysts and architects to define the application framework.
• Document technical designs and unit tests; ensure code quality and security.
