Job summary

A-TEK, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications in a modern cloud-based environment.

Hybrid role based in Washington, DC, reporting to Senior Lead roles, utilizing Microsoft technologies and Agile practices. The role emphasizes building secure, scalable software, modernizing legacy systems, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality solutions for federal clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/SE or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with C#/.NET and/or Python.
• Experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms.
• Experience using Git and Azure DevOps.
• Experience working within Agile software development teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 2 Background Investigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, and maintain enterprise web applications.
• Build responsive UIs using React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop backend services using Python and C#/.NET.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Participate in modernization of legacy applications.
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Support SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Support application deployment within Microsoft Azure.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline execution and release activities.
• Utilize Git and Azure DevOps for source control and work management.
• Support automated testing and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot defects and production issues.
• Perform software enhancements and bug fixes.
• Support system documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.
