Job summary

Metrologic DCS, part of the Sandvik Group, is seeking a Software Engineer to join the QDM/IF development team. You will design, develop, and maintain software enabling manufacturers to manage quality data and analyze process performance.

This full-time hybrid role involves Angular front-end, .NET services and APIs, and PostgreSQL databases, collaborating with Product Management and Quality teams to deliver secure, scalable software used worldwide.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience building commercial web applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET, Angular/TypeScript, and SQL relational design.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain software across the full stack (Angular, .NET, PostgreSQL).
• Develop REST APIs and database solutions with scalable architecture.
• Contribute to testing strategies and secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with Product Management, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
