Job summary

Crum & Forster seeks a Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft technologies to build RESTful APIs and cloud-based applications. You will work with ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, EF Core, and Azure services, delivering scalable solutions in a collaborative, Agile environment.

You will design and implement features across front-end and back-end stacks, consume APIs, manage databases (SQL/NoSQL), and follow DevOps practices to ensure reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Experience in Agile environments, SCRUM preferred.
• Proven experience with ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, and EF Core.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs; GraphQL is a plus.
• Front-end experience with React or Angular and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-based apps.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git and coding tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React, Angular, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, and EF Core.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs to support various applications.
• Implement and manage Azure services for cloud-based apps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features.
• Utilize DevOps practices to automate deployment and ensure CI/CD.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to optimize data storage.
• Leverage AI coding tools to assist development.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues; stay updated on tech trends.
