Job summary

A-TEK, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join a team delivering enterprise web applications in a modern cloud-based environment.

You will work under the Senior Lead Developer and Technical Lead to create secure, scalable software using Microsoft technologies, React, Python, C#/.NET, and Azure, Following Agile practices. The role includes modernization of legacy apps, maintaining production systems, and participating in all SDLC phases, with a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing applications using C#/.NET and/or Python.
• Experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms.
• Experience using Git and Azure DevOps.
• Experience working within Agile software development teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 2 (Moderate Risk) Background Investigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, and maintain enterprise web applications.
• Build responsive user interfaces using React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop backend services using Python and C#/.NET.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Participate in modernization of legacy applications.
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Support SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Assist with data migration and performance optimization.
• Support application deployment within Microsoft Azure.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline execution and release activities.
• Utilize Git and Azure DevOps for source control and work management.
• Support automated testing and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot software defects and production issues.
• Perform software enhancements and bug fixes.
• Support system documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Develop software in accordance with secure coding standards.
• Support application security testing and vulnerability remediation.
• Participate in peer code reviews.
• Support Section 508 accessibility compliance.
