Job summary

Confiz in Seattle seeks an Engineer 2 - Full Stack to help build scalable, event-driven systems for a large retail client. You will work across microservices, front-end React apps, and cloud deployments, contributing to POS events, transactions, and store applications.

The role is hybrid with onsite four days a week in Seattle and remote Fridays, requiring strong Java 8+, Spring Boot, React, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong Java 8+ and Spring Boot experience.
• Proficiency with React.js, Kafka, SQL, and cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Backend: design, develop, and maintain microservices (Java 8+, Spring Boot, Kafka, SQL) deployed to Kubernetes in the cloud.
• Frontend: build responsive web apps using React.js, JS/TS, and CSS for back-of-house UX.
