Job summary

The Museum of Science in Boston is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer to own the user-facing experience on our Drupal-based web properties. You will design polished, accessible interfaces and implement server-side code and API integrations that power ticketing, memberships, and payments.

You will collaborate with a small, high-trust team, embrace AI-assisted development, and drive toward a reusable component design system while modernizing legacy code and ensuring reliable production

Qualifications

• Experience delivering user-facing features with accessible UI/UX.
• Experience integrating REST/JSON APIs with business systems.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and code review.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and ship user-facing features for the Museum's web properties.
• Lead UX/UI decisions and pursue a reusable design system.
• Build and maintain connections between sites and CRM/ticketing/payments.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly in daily coding.
• Refactor legacy code to reduce technical debt.
• Deliver timely research and architecture recommendations.
• Contribute to Drupal on Acquia CMS-based properties and CI/CD workflows.
