Phoenix American is seeking a Software Developer (Full Stack) in Miami, FL, to design, develop, and maintain portals, applications, and API integrations. The role combines strong front-end and back-end engineering with an AI-augmented development workflow.

The ideal candidate will work across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and coding through deployment and production support, in a hybrid office environment in the South Florida area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Ability to work in office/hybrid environment in South Florida.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain corporate portals and business applications to meet evolving needs.
• Maintain and upgrade UI and backend systems for performance and scalability.
• Build and expand API web services for DMS integrations and other enterprise systems.
• Provision, configure, and maintain development, staging, and production environments.
• Maintain source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control best practices.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM integration in applications is a plus.
• Experience with IDM platforms such as AWS Cognito, Okta, or Auth0 is preferred.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
