Job summary

The Judge Group in Malvern, PA is seeking a Mid-level Full Stack Java Developer for a 1+ year hybrid contract. You will build scalable web applications with ~70% frontend (TypeScript/Node.js) and ~30% backend Java, deployed on AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities include owning full‑stack features, REST APIs, and serverless deployments, collaborating with cross‑functional squads, and supporting code reviews and documentation. Onsite from day 1.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive full-stack development experience.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js frontend and backend skills.
• Java backend development and REST API experience.
• Deep AWS cloud experience: Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS.
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD, and agile practices.
• Willing to work onsite in Malvern, PA on day 1.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deploy full-stack web apps for enterprise needs.
• Lead frontend development ~70% with TypeScript/JS/Node.js.
• Develop backend Java services and REST APIs.
• Design serverless microservices on AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS).
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps in sprints.
• Prepare documentation and API specs; maintain version control.
• Assist with on-site onboarding in Malvern, PA day 1.
