Qualifications

• 2 years of Software Engineering experience.
• 2 years of hands‑on Java development experience.
• Experience developing applications with Spring/Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience with React.js or a comparable modern front‑end framework such as Angular.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience working with microservices architectures.
• Understanding of software design patterns and object‑oriented development principles.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and application performance optimization.
• Working knowledge of Python, including its use in scripting, automation, or data processing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross‑functional or distributed teams.
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week at the assigned Irving, TX or Chandler, AZ location.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.js.
• Build and support REST APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications while supporting consolidation efforts.
• Help stabilize and modernize front‑end applications using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Apply software design patterns, secure coding practices, and application performance optimization techniques.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, testing, and ongoing application improvements.
• Work with Python for automation, scripting, data processing, and related development initiatives.
• Contribute to data pipeline development using Python and Apache Spark.
• Support cloud‑native application development with Google Cloud Platform exposure preferred.
• Collaborate with distributed teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Research and evaluate technical solutions and recommend approaches for engineering challenges.
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes, stability, maintainability and performance.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot.
