Job summary

Wonder's Boston team is seeking a Frontend Engineer to build high-performance interfaces for our robotic kitchens. You will craft tools in Vue.js, TypeScript, and CSS to let operators interact with our automated restaurants, providing real-time visibility and control.

Work with cross-functional teams across software, hardware, and product to ship resilient features. This hybrid role requires 3 days in the office weekly, with potential for up to 5 days, and offers a base salary range of $139,500

Qualifications

• 3+ years of frontend development experience with Vue.js, TypeScript and CSS.
• Strong state management experience.
• Solid UI/UX sensibility and collaboration with product/design teams.
• Experience with real-time web apps using WebSockets.
• Willingness to learn Elixir/Phoenix as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own the User Interface: develop and maintain Vue.js apps as the primary interface for robotics.
• Master Real-Time Communication: optimize WebSocket-driven data exchange for responsive UIs.
• Collaborative Design: translate Figma mockups into production-ready UI with feedback loops.
• Performance Engineering: diagnose and fix frontend performance bottlenecks under load.
• Bridge the Stack: learn other parts of the stack and adapt to new frameworks when required.
