Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Frontend Engineer to build high-performance interfaces for automated restaurants. You will craft Vue.js based UIs that give restaurant teams real-time visibility and control over robotic kitchen systems, using TypeScript and CSS, with WebSockets to connect cloud and on-premise components.

You’ll collaborate with software, hardware, and product teams to ship resilient features, optimize performance, and grow with a team of robotics and frontend specialists in Boston.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of frontend development with Vue.js, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Strong experience with a centralized state management store.
• Solid UI/UX sense and ability to contribute to design discussions.
• Proven WebSocket experience for real-time updates.
• Performance-minded with ability to diagnose bottlenecks.
• Willingness to learn Elixir/Phoenix when required.

Responsibilities

• Own the User Interface for robotics control dashboards.
• Master real-time communication using WebSockets.
• Collaborate with Product Designers to translate Figma mockups.
• Proactively diagnose frontend performance bottlenecks.
• Bridge the stack and learn new frameworks as needed.
