Woodward, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled FP&A Manager to lead the planning and forecasting cadence for the Industrial segment, coordinating timelines, inputs, and leadership reviews to ensure disciplined execution and high-quality financial insights.

The successful candidate will partner with business units, drive modernization of FP&A tools including Power BI and AI-enabled efficiencies, and manage a finance team while delivering actionable analyses to senior management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading FP&A planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to partner with business units to provide financial insights for decision-making.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience driving process improvements and tool modernization including BI and AI
• Experience leading teams and coaching finance professionals.
• Excellent communication with senior management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting cadence with calendar management and leadership review prep.
• Partner with business units to provide financial insights and support decisions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls; participate in audits.
• Drive process improvements and automation to increase speed and accuracy.
• Manage cross-functional FP&A initiatives from scope to delivery.
• Advise on Power BI dashboards and AI-enabled efficiencies for planning processes.
• Lead and coach finance professionals, setting goals and giving feedback.
