Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a Business Specialist to provide financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and operational support for an academic unit. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will prepare financial analyses, budgets, forecasts, and coordinate financial activities that support informed decision‑making.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field with GAAP knowledge.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in financial/accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual operating budgets, monthly forecasts, and financial reports.
• Perform financial analyses and budget-to-actual variance analyses.
• Coordinate financial transactions with Accounting & Shared Services, Procurement, HR and Payroll.
• Support month-end/year-end close and continuous improvement of FP&A processes.
