Applegreen US is seeking a Finance Analyst to provide reporting, planning, forecasting and analytical support to the Commercial, Operations, IT and Facilities teams. Based in Glen Rock, NJ, the role supports timely financial information to drive improvements and strategic decision making.

The candidate will collaborate with Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams across the US, UK and Ireland, and contribute to budgeting, variance analysis and capital project evaluations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required.
• 2–3 years FP&A experience in a financial analyst role or similar.
• Retail/food service experience a plus.
• Strong Excel, Power BI, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the budget and forecasts including variance analysis.
• Distil budgets to site/brand/account levels with seasonality and trends.
• Prepare complex financial models for projects.
• Develop presentations with visuals for leadership.
• Leverage advanced Excel for reporting.
• Synthesize data with Power BI capabilities.
• Analyze financial data to understand key drivers.
• Prepare monthly leadership presentations with commentary.
• Support Head Office with monthly expense analyses.
• Partner with Finance Business Managers for cost analyses.
• Load statistical accounts into ERP and labor systems and validate data.
