Applegreen US is seeking a Finance Analyst to provide reporting, planning, forecasting and analytical support to Commercial, Operations, IT and Facilities teams. The role sits in the US FP&A team based in Glen Rock, NJ, offering a hands-on, fast-paced environment with opportunities to improve financial processes and drive performance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in a related field.
• 2–3 years FP&A experience in a financial analyst role.
• Retail, wholesale, or quick-serve restaurant experience a plus.
• Advanced skills in developing complex financial models.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Smartview and Oracle EPM.
• Ability to create clear PowerPoint presentations for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the budget and forecasts including variance analysis.
• Distill budgets down to site/brand/account level data with advanced allocations.
• Prepare complex financial models to support projects.
• Develop presentations with visuals that convey insights and drive decisions.
• Leverage Excel for advanced reporting and data analysis.
• Utilize Power BI to provide actionable analytics.
• Analyze financial data to identify key performance drivers.
• Present monthly reports with commentary and variance analysis to leadership.
• Support Head Office with monthly expense reporting and variances.
• Collaborate with Finance Managers and Transformation lead for cost insights.
• Manage data loads in ERP (PDI/EPM) and UKG Labor systems and validate data.
• Model financials for capital projects and assess returns (ROCE, Payback).
• Support ad hoc initiatives to drive business improvements.
