Job summary

Citizens Bank in Johnston, RI is seeking a Finance Analyst to support the Consumer Lending business, delivering financial analytics, reporting, and budgeting with a strong focus on expense management.

You will partner with finance and business leaders to provide insights, prepare monthly reports and forecasts, and drive variance analysis and process improvements. This role offers hybrid work and exposure to executive-level decision making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required.
Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting.
Strong to advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Develops monthly financial reports, annual budget, and monthly forecasts. Provides transparent reporting and concise commentary for executive management.
Provides insight and recommendations to business leaders to keep within budget forecasts and targets.
Evaluate financial projections and coordinate monthly variance analysis during month-end close.
Identify process improvements and create standard and ad hoc reports for management.
Design formats and content of presentations, with quality review of accuracy for management.
