Job summary

ProNet Group, Inc. is seeking a sharp Structural or Civil Engineer with a P.E. or S.E. license to join our forensic engineering team. You will investigate failures in buildings and prepare professional reports. Hybrid work with on-site inspections and remote analysis.

You'll apply your knowledge of building materials, codes, and inspection techniques while collaborating with legal teams and potentially serving as an expert witness. A mix of fieldwork and desk analysis keeps it engaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering is required.
• Active P.E. license in the state of application is required.
• NCEES certification preferred.
• Additional P.E. licenses in other states are preferred.
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Deep understanding of building materials, construction methods, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate cause of structural failures and deficiencies across buildings.
• Conduct field inspections and gather evidence; document conditions.
• Perform expert evaluations and prepare professional reports.
• Collaborate with legal teams and potentially serve as an expert witness.
• Balance field work with analysis and reporting (approx. 40/60).
