Job summary

ProNet Group, Inc. is seeking a sharp Structural or Civil Engineer with a P.E. license to investigate why buildings fail and to provide remedies.

You’ll join a team specializing in forensic engineering across wood, masonry, concrete, and steel, working on projects from small homes to large commercial structures. The role combines field inspections (about 40%) with office analysis (about 60%), including documenting conditions, producing expert reports, and potentially serving as an expert

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (Required).
• Active P.E. license in the state of application (Required).
• NCEES certification (Preferred).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Deep understanding of building materials, construction methods, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and determine root causes of structural failures and moisture intrusion.
• Perform thorough field inspections and document conditions.
• Prepare professional reports and deliver findings in writing and verbally.
• Collaborate with legal teams and potentially serve as an expert witness.
