Job summary

Friedman Vartolo LLP in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will draft complex motions, handle court appearances, and work closely with clients, court personnel, and opposing parties in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time, exempt role offers hybrid-remote flexibility after 90 days and requires 3+ years of Maryland foreclosure experience, a JD, and Maryland admission.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Maryland foreclosure experience.
• JD from an accredited law school and Maryland admission.
• Experience with mortgage foreclosure law, secured transactions, FDCPA, state and federal consumer protection laws.
• Strong legal analysis, writing and editing skills.
• Excellent organizational and teamwork abilities; able to meet deadlines; leadership to manage staff.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a foreclosure caseload from start to finish.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, investors, and adversaries to ensure timely progress and resolution of foreclosure cases.
• Build and maintain relationships with court personnel to manage timelines and filings.
• Oversee and mentor support staff on tasks related to legal documentation and client communication.
