Job summary

Goldschmitt and Associates LLC (G&A) is seeking a FOIA Analyst II to provide FOIA support for policy and program offices within a government agency. This is a Hybrid role requiring commuting to the USDT office in Washington, DC twice per week.

The anticipated annual salary is up to $82,500, dependent upon experience, and we offer a broad benefits package including 401(k), holidays, tuition reimbursement, medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of FOIA experience with a government agency.
• Working knowledge of Exemptions 1-7.
• Experience using FOIAXpress to manage FOIA requests.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support FOIA requests by reviewing, organizing and analyzing documents for production.
• Identify responsive records and applicable exemptions while protecting sensitive information.
• Disclose non-exempt information and post non-sensitive disclosures in the government reading room.
• Apply Exemptions 1-7 appropriately when responding to requests.
• Utilize FOIAXpress to manage and process FOIA requests.
