Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree is required or preferred.
• 2+ years of actuarial experience required, related experience considered.
• Must have completed at least 3 exams toward ASA or ASA designation; other relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Performs actuarial research, experience studies, and statistical analyses.
• Calculates premiums and reserves for new and existing plans.
• Retrieves and validates data for rate filings and actuarial models.
• Communicates filing status to stakeholders and regulators (NCDOI, CMS).
• Supports valuation by executing ALR model and verifying results.
