Placements24 is seeking a Fleet Management & Logistics Support Driver in Randburg. This hybrid role combines hands-on driving duties with support for fleet operations and logistics coordination, requiring strong driving skills and organizational ability.

The candidate will help with fleet checks, delivery documentation, and on-ground support for the logistics management team, adapting to varying tasks and locations within Randburg and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional driving experience, preferably with fleet operations.
• Valid PDP and Code 10 license.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to work in hybrid roles combining field and office/remote support.
• Knowledge of Randburg road networks.

Responsabilités

• Operate company vehicles for deliveries and pickups within Randburg and surrounding areas.
• Perform regular fleet inspections, checking vehicle condition, fluids and tire pressure.
• Assist in processing delivery manifests and customer documentation.
• Provide on-site support for logistical operations and troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate with dispatch and management to ensure smooth transport activities.
• Maintain records of mileage, fuel use and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and in good working order.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies.
