Qualifications

• Experience testing firmware for embedded devices.
• Ability to derive test cases from requirements.
• Knowledge of regulated environments.
• Experience with DHF documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute firmware verification and validation for a regulated medical device.
• Review and update verification plans and test protocols.
• Create DHF docs: Verification Plans, Test Protocols, Test Reports.
• Ensure requirements-to-test-to-results traceability.
• Perform manual firmware and system-level testing.
• Conduct risk-based testing aligned with medical device standards.
• Participate in risk assessments and mitigations.
• Support FDA submission readiness and compliance.
• Investigate test failures and drive root-cause analysis.
• Support commercialization and remediation efforts.
• Help develop scalable verification processes and team expansion.
