Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Manageability Firmware Engineer (Finance) to join our team in a hybrid role, averaging two days per week in an HPE office in the United States. You will design and troubleshoot firmware for HPE server platforms, collaborating across hardware and software teams.

The role requires 2+ years of firmware experience, strong Python, C/C++, Linux shell scripting skills, and familiarity with OpenBMC/Yocto.

Qualifications

• Firmware development experience (2+ years).
• Experience with Python, C/C++, Linux shell scripts.
• Knowledge of OpenBMC/Yocto is preferred.
• Familiarity with HW interfaces like i2c/i3c/CPLD/GPIO.

Responsibilities

• Designs limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions of systems software.
• Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required.
• Executes testing plans, debugs issues, and suggests improvements.
• Participates with project teams to develop reliable, cost effective solutions.
• Communicates design status and resolves issues with partners.
