Job summary

KeyCorp on Mercer Island seeks a customer-focused associate to balance client servicing with transaction support in a hybrid role. Approximately 70% of time is client servicing and 30% is proactive outreach to uncover needs and guide financial wellness in person or by phone.

The role collaborates with branch leadership to prioritize high-impact activities, ensure branch performance, and maintain compliance and product knowledge, including occasional Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Experienced in developing current and new client relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources.
• Experienced in cash handling and basic finance knowledge.
• Proficient with Windows-based applications and basic calculator use.
• Able to educate clients on digital platforms and capabilities within Key Bank.

Responsibilities

• Embodies a strong client experience culture; being present with every client and teammate.
• Accepts and accurately processes all financial service transactions; identifies opportunities to deepen relationships.
• Acts as a resource to identify and resolve more complex client servicing issues.
• Listens for financial wellness opportunities and guides clients or refers them to a Banker.
• Balances cash drawer within balancing guidelines and follows security procedures.
• Develops partnerships with branch teammates and business partners to drive client acquisition.
• Maintains knowledge of product guides, fees, and policies.
• Supports Saturday work as directed by management.
