Job summary

Vernovis is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst in Cincinnati, OH to support financial processes and reporting within a hybrid work arrangement. You will work with Accounting and IT on system changes, trainings, and governance to improve month-end close and financial reporting.

You should bring a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and at least 1 year of financial systems experience, with strong analytical ability and proficiency in Microsoft tools and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience working with financial systems, accounting systems, or technical business processes.
• Strong accounting knowledge with analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft products and data analytics or financial applications.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain financial systems during month-end close and streamline closing activities.
• Develop and maintain financial systems supporting Accounting; document and communicate change requests and partner with IT.
• Guide Accounting users on best practices, develop and deliver system training, and create user documentation.
• Participate in key Accounting and corporate projects involving financial systems, process improvements, and technology.
• Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements and design future-state solutions.
• Develop reporting solutions and establish reporting standards while promoting data governance within Accounting.
