Job summary

Nationwide Financial is seeking a Financial Services Analyst to join a cross-functional operations team. You will support annuity and contract administration activities, coordinating between members, producers, and Nationwide departments, ensuring accurate data entry and timely service.

The role emphasizes detail orientation, flexibility to shifting priorities, and collaboration with internal and external partners in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of related work experience, including customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills to manage relationships with internal and external customers.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with capacity to research, analyze and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials to propose, sell and establish new plans and set up records (illustrations, trust agreements, reporting).
• Interpret plan provisions and product rules to process requests per requirements.
• Provide care to customers through workflow management and meet service level agreements.
• Follow up with internal areas for completeness and accuracy of end policy/account product.
• Conduct follow up on inquiries, de-escalate complex issues and route licensed activities as needed.
• Review withdrawal, exchanges, deposits, annuity purchases and cash-outs; gather additional information when required.
• Communicate with customers, sales, other departments and external partners; design solutions with other units.
