SMBC Group is seeking an accounting professional to support US GAAP and IFRS reporting in a dynamic environment within SMBC AD. The role focuses on journal entries, regulatory reporting, and interaction with auditors across Americas entities.

The candidate will handle month-end close, prepare financial statements, and support management reporting with strong Excel, Oracle Cloud GL, and Alteryx skills. Hybrid work is offered; reside within commuting distance of the office.

Competenze

• 3 to 7 years of specialized experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS, with ability to prepare financial statements and notes.
• Experience with GL functions, month-end close, and audit workpapers.
• Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Oracle Cloud GL and Alteryx is a plus.

Mansioni

• Prepare and post US GAAP month-end / daily journals for books close and regulatory reporting.
• Support daily reporting for assets and liabilities and regulatory packages.
• Prepare internal and external financial and regulatory reports including audited statements.
• Assist Accounting Managers with daily accounting tasks.
• Interface with accounting departments on reporting requirements and projects.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing for SMBC AD compliance.
• Create monthly analyses and variance reports for management review.
• Prepare month-end reconciliations and hedging-related work papers.
