Job summary

Aflac is seeking a Fin Reporting Accountant II to support financial reporting and regulatory compliance from a hybrid work location in GA. The role requires a solid accounting background, GAAP knowledge, and experience with financial systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, at least three years of corporate accounting, and a CPA/CMA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance required.
• Three years of corporate accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP, SEC, SSAP and related regulations.
• CPA or CMA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects, analyzes, and evaluates financial data and prepares reports.
• Develops conclusions and recommendations for management.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and internal controls.
